Siemens, WakeMed sign 10-year deal

September 30, 2020 -- Siemens Healthineers and WakeMed Health & Hospitals have partnered to improve patient outcomes through collaboration initiatives in robotics, advanced imaging, and artificial intelligence, as well as provider and staff training.

WakeMed will introduce new cardiovascular robotic capabilities and the latest imaging equipment from Siemens to its heart lab. The installation includes a hybrid operating room that will include the Artis Icono angiography system and Corindus CorePath GRX robot under the 10-year partnership, according to the companies.
