SIR taps Findeiss as new president

The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) has named Dr. Laura Findeiss as president for the 2019-2020 term. She assumed office on March 26, during SIR's annual meeting in Austin, TX.

Findeiss is an interventional radiologist and chief of service for the department of radiology at Grady Memorial Hospital and Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.

Other SIR executive council incoming officers include the following:

Secretary Dr. Matthew S. Johnson of Indiana University School of Medicine
Immediate Past-President Dr. M. Victoria Marx of the University of Southern California
