Artificial intelligence (AI) and clinical decision-support (CDS) software developer Cranberry Peak has received an order from Skagit Radiology in Mount Vernon, WA, for its ezCDS software.

After implementation, referring providers for Skagit's imaging center locations in Washington and Alaska will be able to consult ezCDS to determine the appropriateness of their advanced imaging orders, according to the firm. The software includes an AI digital assistant with a voice and conversational interface for referring physicians.

The software is a qualified clinical decision-support mechanism for the Appropriate Use Criteria Program under the Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014 (PAMA), Cranberry Peak said.
