Siemens brings Artis Icono biplane to U.S.

Siemens Healthineers has installed its first Artis icono biplane angiography system in the U.S.

UW Health's University Hospital in Madison, WI, received the milestone system, according to the vendor.

Siemens debuted the Artis icono family at the 2019 European Congress of Radiology (ECR), and it also highlighted the unit at RSNA 2019. Siemens received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for Artis icono biplane and its sister system Artis icono floor in September.
