Samsung NeuroLogica teams with Winnebago for mobile CT

Samsung NeuroLogica has partnered with motor vehicle manufacturer Winnebago Industries to develop an entirely electric-powered mobile CT unit.

The electric Mobile Lung Unit contains Samsung NeuroLogica's BodyTom Elite, a 32-slice, full-body portable CT scanner, and will hold enough battery power to provide approximately eight hours of on-the-road service.

The mobile unit will travel to various cities to provide individuals with access to diagnostic imaging services such CT lung cancer screening, according to the companies. It will be on display at the upcoming Global Commercial Vehicle Drive-to-Zero Workshop and the Global Climate Action Summit, both in San Francisco.
