Medical IP releases free COVID-19 analysis software

South Korean artificial intelligence (AI) firm Medical IP has released free COVID-19 analysis software.

Medical IP's Medip COVID19 software can be used for early diagnosis and assessment of disease symptoms. It is based on the analysis of CT images and detects, segments, and produces 3D models of lung damage caused by the disease, the company said.

Developed through a collaboration between Seoul National University Hospital and two Chinese hospitals, Lanzhou University First Hospital and Xi'an International Hospital, Medip COVID19 can be downloaded for free from the Medical IP website.
