The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) has announced the recipients of its 2019 International Speakers Exchange Award.
- Justin Pigg of Provision Cares Proton Therapy in Nashville, TN, will present "Technical Aspects of Proton Therapy" at the October CARO-COMP-CAMRT Joint Scientific Meeting in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
- Paul Riley of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond will present "The Practice of Empathy and Encouraging its Application in the Radiologic Setting" at the June 2019 United Kingdom Imaging and Oncology Congress in Liverpool, England.
The ASRT has been bestowing this award for more than a decade, it said. The award includes conference registration, travel and lodging expenses, and a stipend to cover related costs.
