Nuclear medicine conference comes to Jordan

The latest diagnostic and therapeutic applications of nuclear medicine in cancer took center stage recently at the three-day International Conference for Nuclear Medicine (ICNM) in Amman, Jordan.

The event, held August 29 to 31, was the first time the ICNM came to Jordan and the Arab world, according to an August 30 report in the Jordan Times.

The meeting's goal was to help physicians and other practitioners maintain knowledge and skills in various aspects of nuclear medicine, focusing on new targeted treatments, theranostics, hybrid modalities, nuclear oncology, and radionuclides, among other areas.

Locally, the Arab Society of Nuclear Medicine and Jordanian Society of Nuclear Medicine were among the organizations supporting the forum.
