Ultrasound technology developer QT Ultrasound has produced 3D-printed breast ductal tissue based on ultrasound scans acquired using its imaging technology.

The ability to create patient-specific 3D-printed models of the breast microanatomy using ultrasound is unique to QT Ultrasound, the company said. This application offers clinicians a fresh way to visualize breast anatomy and has the potential to serve as a novel diagnostic tool for breast conditions.
