Siemens gets approval for Acuson Redwood in Canada

Siemens Healthineers has received clearance from Health Canada for its Acuson Redwood shared-services premium ultrasound scanner.

First introduced in October 2019, Acuson Redwood features contrast-enhanced ultrasound and shear-wave elastography applications, the company's coherent image formation technology, and a suite of artificial intelligence tools. The system has already received U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance and the European CE Mark.
