Image Diagnostics debuts new mobile table

Specialty equipment manufacturer Image Diagnostics has launched a new imaging table, Aspect ISR G3, designed for mobile C-arm environments.

The table features a carbon-fiber four-way float-top design with 32 inches of longitudinal travel and up to 80 inches of artifact-free imaging area. The company claims the table is more reliable as it's free of the complexities of hydraulics and pneumatic drive systems, and it also features the company's isocentric lateral roll function, which keeps focused anatomy centered even when the table is rolled laterally.

Other features include a table-mounted panning hand controller that operates all table functions, including pan, up/down, Trendelenburg, and lateral and isocentric roll. The pan control features automatic lock functions that eliminate inadvertent float release by patients or staff during procedures.

In addition, minirails integrated into the table allow for attaching an articulated headrest or peripheral extension. The table's height has been increased up to 45 inches while still maintaining an extremely low tongue profile, which helps minimize object to image receptor distance and enhance image quality.

Additional specifications include a high patient load capacity of 600 lb; a steer, lock, and float guide system; and instant-on 24-hour battery backup.
