Konica Minolta provides portable x-ray at U.S. Open

Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas teamed up with Mount Sinai Health System in New York City to provide portable onsite x-ray imaging at the recent 2018 U.S. Open tennis tournament.

Mount Sinai physicians used a portable x-ray system (Optima 200, GE Healthcare) outfitted with a wireless digital radiography (DR) detector (AeroDR HD, Konica Minolta), allowing point-of-care imaging for injuries at the tournament.

Mount Sinai also offered diagnostic ultrasound exams for players using a portable, laptop-sized ultrasound scanner (Logiq E10, GE).
