Rayence highlights low-dose detector at RSNA

Flat-panel digital radiography (DR) developer Rayence displayed its GreenOn low-dose, high-sensitivity x-ray detector at RSNA 2021 in Chicago.

The portable detector produces images with up to 40% less exposure compared to previous generations, according Rayence. The company plans to create more low-dose equipment based on the response to the technology, the firm's CEO said.

Also at RSNA, Rayence introduced 1417WCE, a wireless detector weighing 2.7 kg that can be used for up to 16 hours when fully charged.
