The final day of the 19th Symposium for Computer Applications in Radiology begins with a roundtable for radiology residents at 7 a.m.
SCAR U wraps up with senior sessions on security and connectivity/networking. The closing session, "HIPAA: The absolute essentials, 345 days and counting," will provide perspectives from radiologists, vendors, information technology experts, attorneys, and the government.
Chaired by Dr. Eliot Siegel of the Baltimore VA Medical Center, the closing session will also include an interactive panel discussion on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and radiology information systems.
