Konica Minolta signs ultrasound distributor

Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas has signed on Mercury Medical as a distributor for its ultrasound offerings in the anesthesia market.

Specifically, Mercury Medical will distribute the vendor's Sonimage HS2 compact ultrasound system in the U.S., according to Konica Minolta. In addition, the two companies said they have teamed up to promote the HS2 scanner along with Medovate's SAFer Injection for Regional Anesthesia (SAFIRA) device as a total regional anesthesia package.
