Contrast agent developer E-Z-EM has named Anthony Lombardo as president and CEO. Prior to joining E-Z-EM, Lombardo served as president of ALI Imaging Systems, the U.S. subsidiary of Canadian PACS firm ALI Technologies. He has also held management positions at GE Medical Systems, Philips Medical Systems, Sony Medical Systems, and Loral Medical Systems.
In other news, E-Z-EM announced that it expects to report third-quarter revenues of $25.8 million, down 3% compared with the $26.6 million posted in 1999. For the period (end-February 26), the Westbury, NY-based firm anticipates that it will report net income of $516,000, compared with net income of $959,000 last year.
