Medrad, a contrast injector provider in Indianola, PA, has acquired Biotel, a Sydney, Australia-based manufacturer of CT vascular injection equipment and video imagers for use in radiology.
Medrad says that Biotel has the largest share of Australia’s CT injector and syringe market, and has experienced a 40% growth in revenues in the last year. Biotel, which becomes Medrad’s 13th international subsidiary, will retain its name. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
