Syncor expands Caribbean presence

Radiopharmaceutical provider and imaging center operator Syncor International said its Syncor Overseas subsidiary has completed the acquisition of Acute Care International, a catheterization laboratory located in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. Syncor acquired the center for approximately $760,000 in cash and assumed debt.

In addition, the Woodland Hills, CA-based firm has completed its acquisition of Carolina Nuclear Laboratory, a nuclear medicine facility in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Syncor acquired the facility for approximately $436,000 in assumed debt, and paid an additional $320,000 to acquire the property on which the center is located.
