Contrast injector firm Medrad's Japanese headquarters, Nihon Medrad, has launched a direct sales and service operation. Previously, Indianola, PA-based Medrad had participated in the Japanese market through distributors.
Nihon Medrad of Osaka was formed in 1996 to expand and support Medrad's Japanese marketing activities. Medrad has an installed base of over 3,500 vascular injectors in Japan, according to the vendor.
