Amersham has changed the name of its medical diagnostics and therapy business, Nycomed Amersham Imaging, to Amersham Health. As part of its plan to adopt a new common global identity, the London-based firm has also renamed its life sciences business, Amersham Pharmacia Biotech, as Amersham Biosciences. Amersham will trade under a new ticker symbol, AHM, on the London, New York, and Oslo stock exchanges.
