An AuntMinnie milestone -- 100,000 members

If you’ve noticed a festive air around AuntMinnie.com this week, it’s because we’ve achieved a major milestone -- the registration of our 100,000th member! Daniel Kanada, a fourth-year medical student from New Haven, CT, became our 100,000th member, and will receive a Dell Axim PDA as a token of our appreciation.

We launched AuntMinnie.com on November 28, 1999 with the goal of creating a comprehensive online resource for radiology news, education, e-commerce, and professional interaction. Our mission was -- and still is -- to use the power and speed of the Internet to help radiology professionals do their jobs more efficiently than ever before.

Have we succeeded? We like to think so. Since that first day of coverage we’ve steadily expanded our range of products and services to include comprehensive job listings, an AuntMinnieMobile service for PDA users, our SalaryScan database, a Buyer’s Guide directory for imaging products, and a new Business Consulting Services research division, to name just a few of our newer features.

But none of it would have been possible without the warm reception we’ve received from radiology professionals like you. We’ve been encouraged from the start by the positive messages we receive almost every day from people who have made AuntMinnie an important part of their professional lives. We’d like to take this moment to thank all of our members. Without you, AuntMinnie wouldn’t be what it is today.

Registering our 100,000th member is an important milestone. But it’s only the beginning.
