Our new story covers ultrasound of focal lesions of the pancreas. Cancer of the pancreas can have serious clinical consequences, and surgical intervention is usually only possible when the disease is discovered early. Fortunately, most of the pancreas is easily viewed via ultrasound.
The article includes descriptions of the types of pancreatic cancers that are most commonly seen, and tips for how to detect them on ultrasound.
