DUBAI - The deputy ruler of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, officially opened the Arab Health congress on Monday morning.
Sheikh Hamdan, who is also minister of finance and industry for the United Arab Emirates and one of the world's top owners and breeders of racehorses, also toured the vast exhibition area.
Around 85,000 attendees are expected between now and Thursday. The 3,900 exhibiting companies from 64 countries, as well as 38 country pavilions, occupy more than 65,677 sq. meters (215,475 sq. feet) of exhibition space.
