(Booth 6229) Portable CT company NeuroLogica of Danvers, MA, returns to radiology's showcase conference with its CereTom unit, designed for imaging patients with severe brain trauma or other neurological conditions who receive care in neuro ICUs.
NeuroLogica also will demonstrate its dose-reduction postreconstruction software, designed to reduce dose by 30% to 50% in head scans.
In addition, the firm will discuss skull clamp and horseshoe immobilization devices for use with the scanner. The devices enable CereTom to be used intraoperatively for brain tumor resections and transphenoidal procedures, as well as shunt and deep brain stimulation device placements, according to the company.
Finally, NeuroLogica intends to unveil a high-definition SPECT camera for head and neck applications as a work-in-progress.
