GE Healthcare said it is teaming up with Advocate Health Care in a long-term commitment to reduce radiation dose in diagnostic CT imaging.
The agreement is among the first partnerships facilitated by GE's new Blueprint for low dose project, which allies the vendor with healthcare partners in ongoing efforts to minimize radiation dose in CT imaging. GE announced a similar project with Utah-based Intermountain Healthcare in August. The Advocate project was announced today at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, GE said.
