Toshiba America Medical Systems and AHRA have named the seven recipients of their fifth annual Putting Patients First grant program.
Akron Children's Hospital in Akron, OH, received an integrated delivery network (IDN) grant of up to $20,000. Its radiology patient and family education program will develop educational materials on radiation dose exposure levels.
Three grants of up to $7,500 were awarded to the following hospitals for pediatric programs: Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT; Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY; and Mission Children's Hospital Reuter Outpatient Center in Asheville, NC.
The general program winners of grants up to $7,500 were Catalina Island Medical Center in Avalon, CA; Methodist Hospital in Houston; and Salem Township Hospital in Salem, IL.
