ISCT 2016 gets underway | Radiology claim denials | Imaging accreditation

What capabilities should the next generation of CT detectors offer? There are a lot of features on the wish list, according to an opening-day presentation at the International Society for Computed Tomography (ISCT) 2016 Symposium in San Francisco.

The good news is that exciting new CT detector technologies will definitely be making their way to commercial CT scanners, according to Dr. Norbert Pelc of Stanford University. He offered a glimpse into the future of CT detectors in a talk given on behalf of Willi Kalender, PhD, of the University of Erlangen in Germany.
