Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm Riverain Technologies has sold its ClearRead CT lung nodule detection software to customers on three continents.
The new clients include Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, the University Hospital of Zurich in Switzerland, and St. Luke's International Hospital in Tokyo.
ClearRead CT makes use of deep-learning technology to automatically process scans from all CT manufacturers and detect lung nodules that should be acted upon, according to the vendor. Riverain received U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance for the software in September.
