The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared Infervision's lung CT artificial intelligence (AI) software.
InferRead Lung CT.AI supports concurrent reading and helps radiologists to find pulmonary nodules on chest CT scans, Infervision said. It automatically performs lung segmentation and then identifies and labels nodules of different types for review by the radiologist.
Infervision said that the software is in use in more than 380 hospitals and imaging centers around the world and that it has received the European CE Mark.
