Outpatient imaging services provider RadNet has acquired a 75% share in London, U.K.-based Heart & Lung Health, an organization that supports early detection and accurate diagnosis of lung cancer.

Heart Lung & Health consists of a network of more than 70 U.K. cardiothoracic radiologists who provide low-dose CT lung cancer screening reporting services to the National Health Service (NHS) as well as individual hospitals and academic institutions, according to RadNet. It is the leading provider of these services to the NHS England Targeted Lung Health Check program, for which it uses pulmonary nodule management and lung cancer artificial intelligence (AI) screening software from RadNet's Dutch subsidiary Aidence, RadNet said.
