Thirona obtains European Innovation Council funding

Software developer Thirona has been awarded funding from the European Innovation Council (EIC) through its accelerator program.

Thirona has developed an AI-based platform called LungQ that offers thoracic CT imaging analysis. It was one of 51 firms awarded the grant, 15 of which have a female CEO, chief technology officer (CTO), or chief sales officer (CSO), the company said.
