AI software developer RapidAI has raised $75 million in funding that it will apply toward further development and marketing of its AI and workflow technology for stroke care.
The firm's Rapid NCCT Stroke technology detects suspected intracranial hemorrhage and large vessel occlusion from noncontrast CT imaging. RapidAI is developing new modules for cerebral aneurysm management and the identification and notification of suspected central pulmonary embolism.
RapidAI also highlighted recent milestones, including having over 10 million scans analyzed on the platform and being deployed in over 2,200 hospitals in over 100 countries.
Vista Credit Partners, a subsidiary of Vista Equity Partners, led the most recent funding round.
