FDA clears Acist contrast injector

Acist Medical Systems has received Food and Drug Administration clearance for its newest contrast injection system, the CMS-2000 Contrast Management System for angiography. Acist, of Eden Prairie, MN, claims that CMS-2000 is the only contrast injector that gives radiologists instantaneous and variable control over contrast volume and flow.
