Film, computed radiography, and PACS vendor Agfa continues to add OEM clients for its CR products. The latest addition to the company's OEM stable is a big one: Siemens Medical Engineering has signed an agreement to market Agfa’s ADC Compact and Solo CR readers.
The three-year agreement is non-exclusive and renewable, according to Agfa of Mortsel, Belgium, and Siemens of Erlangen, Germany. Compact is a fully automated system suitable for high-volume applications, while Solo is a small reader targeted for low-volume sites, according to Agfa.
