Tokman to lead Marconi product strategies

Marconi Medical Systems has promoted Eliezer Tokman to senior vice president, product strategies, the company announced. In new technologies, clinical applications, joint ventures and strategic alliances, Tokman will work to align the company's strategic plans with its product line, Marconi said.

Tokman joined Marconi in 1998 when the firm acquired CT vendor Elscint, where he served as president. During his 15 years with Elscint, Tokman directed CT research and development, and was responsible for the company's global CT business. Tokman was instrumental in developing Elscint's dual-slice CT scanner, the first multislice CT system to reach the market, Marconi said.
