Fuji inks CR supply deal with AmeriNet

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT, has been awarded "TargetBuy" provider status by group purchasing organization AmeriNet of St. Louis. The short-term contract is effective October 1 through January 31, 2001 and covers Fuji’s computed radiography equipment, according to the St. Louis-based GPO.

The agreement allows all AmeriNet members access to an FCR Preferred CR system at a discounted rate, and a second stand-alone CR unit at an even greater discount, according to AmeriNet.

For smaller clinics, remote outpatient centers, or facilities requiring a single-room CR unit, Fujifilm offers the FCR 5000R-E Diagnostics Package, according to AmeriNet. In addition, Fujifilm has signed a six-year agreement with AmeriNet to make film, CR, and medical images available to all AmeriNet members.
