CR and film digitizer provider Lumisys reported revenues of $4.5 million in its third quarter, up 15% from the $3.9 million posted for the same period in 1999.
For the period (end-September 30), the Sunnyvale, CA-based vendor had a net loss of $744,000, compared with a net loss of $263,000 (after income tax benefit of $333,000 and a $259,000 non-cash charge for discontinued operations) in the same quarter last year.
The revenue growth was due to strong sales of the company's ACR-2000 CR system, increasing sales of its iLuminator CR/miniPACS workstation, and initial revenues from its AuntMinnie.com Internet portal subsidiary, according to Lumisys.
