Bone densitometry developer Hologic has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Medica, a Gaithersburg, MD-based healthcare consulting group. The agreement allows the Bedford, MA company to distribute its Sahara ultrasound densitometry unit to Medica’s 350 personal health-center sites. The sites include nontraditional markets such as pharmacies, rehabilitation facilities, and physicians' offices, Hologic said.
