Kodak to provide imaging equipment to Olympics

Eastman Kodak will contribute imaging equipment to the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games. The Rochester, NY-based firm said it will supply the Olympic Polyclinic with technology such as its DirectView DR 9000 digital radiography system, DirectView diagnostic workstations, 3600 Distributed Medical Imager (DMI), and a variety of dental products.

Kodak is also working with other equipment providers at the Polyclinic, including GE Medical Systems. GE is providing a mobile MRI system, while Philips Ultrasound is supplying an ultrasound scanner.
