Bone densitometry vendor GE Medical Systems Lunar posted sales of $115 million in 2001, up 26% compared with 2000. The Madison, WI-based vendor attributed the gains to increased market awareness of the need to identify patients at risk of fracture that may be associated with osteoporosis.
