Swissray increases presence in Eastern Europe

Last week’s 2002 European Congress of Radiology in Vienna provided digital x-ray developer Swissray International with a venue to debut new products and close new deals.

The Elmsford, NY, firm took advantage of the conference to introduce its Expert-4000 control system to European audiences. The company touted the system’s remote performance monitoring, service, and upgrade capabilities, as well as the productivity increases that could be achieved with its automated procedure tasks.

Swissray also used its time at the ECR to sign two orders with Russian buyers for four ddRMulti and one ddRModulaire digital x-ray systems. Company representatives report that these latest bookings raise its total sales into Eastern Europe to 68 orders.
