GE Medical Systems OEC has released 9800 Plus, a 1K x 1K digital mobile C-arm for interventional and surgical imaging applications. The product includes a new tungsten collimator and an online preview display that enables physicians to preview images before the next exposure, allowing for lower dose to patients and physicians, according to Waukesha, WI-based GE.
GE OEC said it has also added "intelligent" digital technology that optimizes image quality when metal is introduced into the x-ray field. In addition, 9800 Plus adjusts sampling window size after dynamically sensing collimator position, according to GE.
