Digital x-ray and mammography provider Hologic’s U.K. sales and service partner, Vertec Scientific, has installed an Epex digital radiography system at Bishop Auckland Hospital, in Bishop Auckland, U.K. A second Epex unit is slated for delivery to Darlington Memorial Hospital, in Darlington, U.K. Both institutions are part of the National Health Service (NHS) Trust, which is promoting the installations as part of its efforts to modernize U.K.’s healthcare delivery system.
