Medtronic inks deal with Medamicus

Medtronic of Minneapolis has entered into a five-year supply agreement with guidewire safety-needle manufacturer Medamicus of Plymouth, MN. Retractable safety-needle technology developed by Medamicus will be added to the Minneapolis-based Medtronic product line of delivery products for use in the implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, catheters, and infusion ports.
