Eastman Kodak Health Imaging of Rochester, NY, has signed a five-year contract to provide its laser imagers and conventional x-ray and digital imaging film to the group purchasing organization Consorta of Rolling Meadows, IL. Consorta has signed a similar deal with Stamford, CT-based Fujifilm Medical Systems USA.
The two five-year awards are expected to capture combined annual product volume of $45 million. The two vendors’ products will be offered to Consorta’s membership of more than 2,000 healthcare facilities. The deal was effective October 1 and has an optional two-year extension.
