Quantum will be showing its QV-800 Universal digital imaging system, as well as its Verti-Q Tilt/Rotate motorized tilting wall stand unit, and QT-711-EV elevating float-top mobile table.
Quantum's QV-800 Universal DR system requires only a single imaging receptor, yet allows for all patient examinations, according to the Ronkonkoma, NY-based company. QV-800 has FDA clearance and began shipping in May.
Quantum's Verti-Q Tilt/Rotate motorized tilting wall stand unit has a rotational receptor feature, designed for use with DR (direct digital imaging) system applications. Quantum's wall stand has an adjustable receptor angle range of 90° to negative 15°, providing flexibility for various exams.
The receptor tilt movement is motorized using a remote control switch. Automatic stops are provided at Ð15°, 0° and 90°.
The unit also allows the receptor unit to rotate 90° for use with single-panel DR systems. The vertical travel braking system is electromagnetic and incorporates Quantum's hand control. It accommodates a variety of views, from weight-bearing exams (13.75 inches from floor to film center) to standing skull procedures, Quantum said.
The firm's QT-711 table includes a floating top, similar to conventional radiographic tables. It accommodates patients weighing up to 600 pounds. The motorized elevating feature allows the table to be lowered to 22 inches and elevated to 34 inches for transfer of patients from a stretcher or wheelchair.
QT-711-EV's floating tabletop is 85 inches long, with 15 inches of longitudinal travel. The tabletop width is 27.5 inches with five inches of transverse travel. All four wheels can be locked with one foot pedal, Quantum said.
