Film digitizer vendor Vidar Systems has introduced its Vision line of digital radiography systems.
Designed for high-volume use, Vision 4000 features a 4K detector for higher resolution needs and is targeted at high-volume imaging centers, orthopedic practices, and hospitals, according to the Herndon, VA-based firm. Vision 2000 offers a 2K detector, and is suitable for lower-volume, office-based use, Vidar said.
The Vision systems can display images in 10 seconds or less, and offer 3.8 lp/mm, 65,536 shades of gray, and a full-featured software package, Vidar said. The vendor is displaying the systems at this week's European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.
