Radiation oncology vendor Varian Medical Systems of Palo Alto, CA, has introduced its new PaxScan 1313 digital x-ray detector for dental and orthopedic imaging.
PaxScan 1313 offers a 13 x 13-cm imaging area and produces up to 30 images per second. The panel also features a cesium iodide (CsI) scintillator for scanning at 80-90 kV to minimize the x-ray dose delivered to patients.
