Xemarc (formerly Airball Medical) has added attachment pads for its 25-mm (1-inch) Measurement Calibration Marker (MCM) ball, which provides medical practitioners with a measurement reference when viewing film x-rays, computed radiography (CR), or digital radiography (DR) exams.
The attachment pads, which are 1.75 inches in diameter and are made from a 3 mil transparent polyethylene film, allow for MCM attachment painlessly and securely to the skin, according to the South Glastonbury, CT-based firm.
