Japanese imaging vendor Shimadzu Medical Systems has introduced a new multipurpose digital radiography/fluoroscopy (R/F) system.
Called Sonialvision Versa, the system includes a new 1-million-pixel CCD camera that produces images in a 12-bit 1024 x 1024 matrix. The system can capture images at up to 15 frames per second.
Sonialvision Versa also features a flat tabletop with head-to-toe coverage and full longitudinal sliding range at any imaging angle with no need to move the patient, according to the company. The table also features an adjustable height and can be lowered to 63 cm when the image intensifier retraction function is used.
